Report: H.E. (high explosion) bomb . Gas/Water mains broken - Overhead electric tramway cables brought down - No casualties
The bombed shops in the centre is where the Medical Centre is now. The bomb damaged shops on the left were rebuilt. Note the painted white bands (blackout) around the poles that carry the power supply for the trams and the boarded-up shops on the right.
